Lady Martina Beniowski Olive is the decendent of Count Maurycy Beniowski, Polish pirate. When she was a young girl, she was sent away to a convent to be educated in the hopes that once she married, she would not carry on the family tradition. She married Sir Alphonso Olive whose family owned a castle on the rugged and remote Cornish coast. She wasn't adverse to supporting her affluent lifestyle by helping herself to goods aboard the ships that oftentimes would seek refuge at the castle during storms. Piracy was in her blood, however, so she left her husband for the New World to pursue her lifelong dream of meeting the great Blackbeard!
